CRYO-S™ Painless
Cryoanalgesia: Advanced technology for pain resolution
The CRYO-S™ Painless system, manufactured in Poland by METRUM CRYOFLEX, represents a cutting-edge technology in pain reduction and treatment. It addresses pain originating from injuries, chronic pathologies, or surgical interventions. This system offers a precise and controlled approach to cryoanalgesia, demonstrating proven efficacy and providing analgesic effects prolonged for months.
Cryoanalgesia is a technique that utilizes extremely low temperatures to temporarily numb or interrupt the function of nerves transmitting pain signals. Unlike other methods, it provides selective pain relief without generating permanent effects, lesions or scar tissue.
The device is microprocessor-controlled; all relevant parameters, such as cryoprobe temperature, cylinder pressure, gas flow, and procedure time, are displayed and monitored on an LCD screen, facilitating real-time tracking and adjustment.
Mode selection, probe cleaning and freezing can be performed automatically via a foot switch or touchscreen, which helps maintain the sterility of the operative field.
The CRYO-S™ Painless system is compatible with a variety of specialized cryoprobes, designed for different applications:
Percutaneous Cryoprobes: Inserted through the skin to reach specific nerves.
Available with round or triangular tips, with or without neurostimulation, to treat intercostal nerves, facet joints and peripheral nerves.
Specific probes are also designed for the cryoanalgesia of sacroiliac joints, supraorbital nerves, infraorbital nerves, among others.
Thoracoscopic Cryoprobes: Allow for precise treatment from the fourth to the tenth intercostal nerve under direct vision. This latest-generation technology enables the probe body to remain at ambient temperature while only the tip cools to -60° C.
Extreme cold induces selective necrosis of Schwann cells, temporarily blocking pain. The perineurium is preserved, facilitating nerve regeneration at 1 mm per day and ensuring prolonged relief.
FEATURES
Safety: Suitable for patients with pacemakers and stimulators.
Efficacy: Contributes to reducing postoperative hospital stay and facilitates improved recovery.
Manufacturing: Crafted in Poland, registered with ANMAT and CE. Exclusive representatives in Argentina.
Applications: Percutaneous and Thoracoscopic.
Usage: Applicable across a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including neuropathic, articular, post-surgical, or oncological pain.
Precision: Its microprocessor enables precise control of procedure parameters.
